I'm messing around with trying to get my installer's ProductVersion to be based off our main application's assemblyVersion. I thought this would be as simple as putting !(bind.assemblyVersion.MyApplicationId) in the right places, but this doesn't work unless I put Assembly=".net" on my main application's file element.
I don't want to install my app into the GAC. Is there another way to make this work?
