Require registration to post. WiX isn't the sort of subject that people typically want to ask a question or two about and then forget. Most newbies have been tasked with using WiX, so would be well advised to follow the list anyway. For the few people who have valid reasons to ask a question or two then go away, subscribing just isn't a big deal and they can unsubscribe as soon as their questions have run their course. Given the list netiquette of replying to the list rather than the individual, they need to be subscribed to get email responses to their questions anyway. It's a common practice on technical lists to require registration to post.
