Hi, For a newbie it would be nice with an example step by step instruction on how to get a patch into gerrit and amend it. In that way you have a chart of what to And if something goes wrong following that instruction we might be able to assist in figuring out what and why. I also think we should have a step-by-step instruction for the https version and a way to obtain the commit hook without using ssh for the ones where company firewalls blocks ssh. Agreed that to really work with GIT you may require a deeper knowledge of git but a startup step-by-step will ease the learning curve considerably I would say.
