What gives you the impression that things are cooling off? SoCal
Wireless seems to have built a really cool network lately, there was a
big push for group consolidation that I saw go through this (BAWUG) list
for the Bay Area, Personal Telco has nodes going up everywhere right now
and some great things heading into the next year regarding larger
networks in Portland, Seattle Wireless's mailing list seems to always be
active... and organizations like ours our making waves all over the

Seems to me that the wireless networking community is as powerful as
ever. What parts do you think are missing that give you that opinion?
