i have installed winpcap 3.0 on a winXP machine. I am
using msvc++ 6 to compile programs and run them. i
have compiled some of the example programs which find
interfaces successfully.
i am now trying to run the same program on a win98
machine which does not have winpcap installed.
i copied over the .exe file, and packet.dll for win98,
plus wpcap.dll, pthreadVC.dll. the program runs but i
get the following error:
"No interfaces found! Make sure WinPcap is
installed."
so my general question is, how can i get compiled
wpcap programs to run on a machine which does not have
winpcap installed?
