Hello BAWUG! I'm sure this is not the last email you will get about today's amazing party, but I guess it's the first. TLDR: It went so, so well! Thank you too everyone who was there, and there in spirit! Thank you so much to all the volunteers! We did so good folks!! It was a huge, multifaceted event for hundreds of people and we fucking killed it. All I saw was smiles in the crowd, I saw volunteers stepping in and stepping up and helping each other eagerly and kindly. And so many people, who already knew and loved Wikipedia, came away with the tools and knowledge and inspiration to start editing, or at least spread the word. Thank you everyone. BAWUG has always been a close knit group and we've put on some fun events. But this was truly next level. I am super excited and inspired on how high this rocketship might truly go. Special, personal, non-official thanks to Emeline, because I intimately witnessed just how many crazy project ideas and workshops and stations she pulled off, and I'm sure it was just the tip of the iceberg.
