Hey everyone,

We've booked and confirmed the date for our event at the North Beach
location of the SF Public Library! It's going to be:

*Tuesday, October 7, 2025*
*6:00 PM - 7:30 PM*
*San Francisco Public Library, North Beach branch*
*850 Columbus Avenue San Francisco, CA 94133*

Here's the event description that I submitted:

*The Life of a Wikipedia Editor, and How You Can Join!*
*Sit with a panel of experienced Wikipedia editors as they discuss some of
the rewards and challenges of contributing to the online encyclopedia that
anyone can edit. There will be tips on how you can get involved and make
your first edits, as well as plenty of time for both structured Q&A and
informal meet and greet.*

So far we've got a few yes's and a few maybe's from people on the list. The
more the merrier! If you can't contribute slides or don't want to be on the
panel for Q&A, you can still come to be part of the informal meet and
greet, or just to lend moral support.

As the date gets closer, I'll start a separate private thread with everyone
who has expressed interest. There's still room though, so feel free to
email me directly or respond here if you're starting to get curious.

Thanks everyone,
-Travis
