Hi! I have had this idea myself (think I brought it up to a few people in WM2012 as well), but hadn't brought it up here because I don't know if I can afford it yet. But if I can, you can definitely count me in (although I'll probably take a flight to Moscow, and then take the train from there). I was thinking the Trans-Mongolian railway from Moscow to Beijing, then train to Hong Kong from there, but don't know what type of train yet though.
