I find this extremely interesting and have to admit that I never thought about this idea, even though it is a dream of mine to travel the Transib one day. In a group I would feel much more confident to do such a journey. The only thing I am not sure at this point is whether I can be off from work for two weeks, with no internet (for emergencies etc.)... Let me think it through and look for the schedule.
