If you followed the developer mailing list and IRC chan lately you should be aware that we plan to start the preparations for the 1.12.x series very soon. That is I plan to release the first beta next Saturday. With this the string and feature freeze will start, too. This means the following: * Get your feature changes in. * Get any string changes still required in. * Make sure that things work reasonably well. * Try to start focusing on stabilization instead of feature development. * Balancing can still be adjusted, but try to keep the adjustments low. Once the release candidate time is started even those should no longer happen. My plan is to still update the manual until then to ensure it is up to date with the real game (especially the screenshots need updating...). If there are other places that need to be updated, please do so as soon as possible. Once the stringfreeze is in effect only small typo changes can be accepted and they *have* to be done using pofix.py on the respective textdomain (.pot and .po files). If you forgot larger string parts: Bad luck! If there is any good reason why I should *not* start the stabilization time: make sure to tell me about it ASAP. If there is no comment I will just assume that everyone is looking forward to the stabilization time.
