I can still reach his home network, but the links to his weather and solar data give a 410 NGIX GONE error. Since his server is still up and running, it leads me to believe that Gary is still around.
I know Tom and Matthew are “close” to him. If I remember correctly, Gary visited the States several years ago and linked up with Matthew. Maybe they have some info.
