Yes you can I use one of these https://www.adafruit.com/product/2651 connected to a RPi 3B running WEEWX and a SDR dongle to collect signals from my WH1081(Maplin clone) outdoor sensors as my console died,. I used this driver https://gitlab.com/wjcarpenter/bme280wx which adds the pressure/temp/humidity from the BME280 into the data from the SDR.
