Actually I do not see the glue in that. - What says ls -l /webcam ? - you have log_failure = True ? - set debug = 1 in weewx.conf, restart WeeWX and look at the log again. There should be a message containing the file names and paths of the files read and created. - I assume that you looked at snap.jpg and checked that it is a valid picture.
