Hi, Have done #1. Got a THGN129 from oregon scientific. it does work with SDR, but barometer is shit. measures +/-7 mbar. Have been considering to look into another sdr compliant barometer, but did not find one (and stopped looking activley for a while now)
Regarding 2. weewx loop only support for a single device. so snooping the baro from the wmr is not an option (if I understood correctly). But there seems to be a new weewx multi that might help you on this. And there is a page on weewx github wiki that explains how to snoop on network traffic for weewx.
