You mean to say running on the SD-CARD is bad idea?

I do get the inherent nature of SD-CARDS being unpredictible.  But I buy 
high quality cards.  The one I had been using was not unfortunately, but I 
switched to a red label super fast sandisk.

using an SSD would definitely be a good idea in my case.
