Bill About not being able to run the driver directly, If you have python 2 on your system, but have installed WeeWX to use python 3 you may not have installed the prerequisites for python 2. If you have a setup.py install and try to run: PYTHONPATH=/home/weewx/bin python -m user.gw1000 --test-driver You will get an error message that includes "ImportError: No module named configobj" What you can do is specify python 3 on the command and it should run fine: PYTHONPATH=/home/weewx/bin python3 -m user.gw1000 --test-driver
