I have a friend who wants to get his Davis Vantage Vue working on a Linux. He is brand new to Linux and is looking a how to. He has been trying for a couple months with no success finding a how to that is basic enough with a clear step by step for someone with zero Linux experience. I own a raspeberry pi but only use it with ready made booting software so I am useless to him for help.
He has the stock USB interface, not a after market). The system works perfectly on his Windows 7 uploading data to wx underground. He has a spare computer, linux is free and wants to give it a go for a dedicated computer or pick up a raspberry pi. Any pointers for a "weewx for dummies" would be much appreciated. thanks Ken -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "weewx-user" group.
