My new acurite 02064 was showing a few gaps a couple of weeks ago, so I
changed the batteries, and it was gapless for two weeks, then started
showing gaps again a few times a day, with the last dropout lasting for a
few hours during the middle of the night. There appears to be a
correlation with the cold. Is that a thing? I moved the outdoor sensors
a foot to the left, and elevated the indoor sensor (hanging on wall) about
six inches to see if there's a difference. I have a HAM radio, and can
hear the packets, but I haven't been around during the dropout to see if
they stop all together. The radio frequency is 433.958Mhz if anyone is
interested.

Any ideas as to why it's dropping out? aside from the apparent temperature
correlation?

thanks!
