I have a Davis Vantage Pro 2 which has been running via USB into a small PC that runs Weather Display. The PC FTP's to a hosted website. Due the the small low power PC giving problems and the cost of running the hosted web space I have decided to have a go at the Raspberry Pi WeeWx route. I am at the point of finally getting it running to the point I can view file:///var/www/html/index.html. I haven't got the the point of hosting the site locally yet as I am not sure if I should run the Apache server on the RPi or even a separate RPi. Another option is a server on a Synology NAS that I am running. The part I am not sure about is the file:///var/www/html/index.html page only updates every 30 mins. When I ran Weather Display the updates were every 10 seconds or so ftp'd up to the website plus a local display that was to all intents and purpose live in updating. Can I achieve similar with WeeWx, at least more frequent updates than 30 mins!
