Hi,
Follow-up: someone asked me for stats about macOS downloads and CPU
types. Currently the Intel version gets around three times as many
downloads as the Apple Silicon version.
But that doesn't automatically mean that there are three times as many
Intel Mac users coming to our site, but rather that many Apple Silicon
users may be getting the Intel version as it's shown by default.
