I happen to like to new logo. It looks like very slick. The offers on the google docs are problematic, as they are rectangles, not squares (or even almost squares). Imagine using it as a desktop icon, or as a favicon, and I think you'll see the problem. Overall - I like the new design. After getting used to it, I'm sure no- one will miss the old one.
