JqueryUI/ExtJS has great widgets for individual tasks (datepicker, etc) but I find myself creating a lot of custom CSS and JavaScript for larger apps. I'm hoping one of these AJAX frameworks will be my silver bullet for the front-end, like web2py is for the backend.
