I think web2py need a push funded or not funded.

For my experience where i deal daily with web2py, i see the admin app web
interface kind of lost in time. It did not change much in the last years.
Why ?
I have for example a table with 50 rows, when i browse it with admin ,
every columns is prefixed with the table name.
That is so bad looking.
This creates bigger columns in the screen for numeric fields.
Also if i have a table with 800 records and i´m scrooling down looking for
something i have to scroll again to the top to view next 100 rows.
And if i sort some of the columns when i want to see next 100 tows the sort
is off and ... you know what i mean.

Also the web console , is , well, better than nothing.

So much could be done to even improve our experience.

Also mongo is an old issue in web2py and seems that will never be a fact,
only a todo.

These are examples of some of the things that remain to evolve while other
players like meteor just put them on the table .

That maybe is one of the advantages of funding.

Dont get me wrong. Web2py is my "first" love but sometimes i feel the need
to "cheat"
;)
