I only want to be constructive here...I really don't want to start a flame war in this group. What I'll say that's hopefully not controversial is that when you get to the scale of YouTube, you'll run into situations where *every* framework will start to get in your way-- usually in the data access layer. The good news is that most websites don't turn into YouTube in a single day, and you have time to write that custom code as you need to.
