You might, or would you use linux or a mac. Use what you feel can help you get your job done the best and move on... The best way to compare two things is to try them both. Then you need to decide what you would rather use for the long term. For me I was able to get going fast, and there was/is a deep well of tools to further enhance your project as needed.
