My web2py app was called *welcome*, and I upgraded to new 2.4.6 version with the by pressing the button in the admin panel.
I noticed my app called *welcome*, was overwritten by the *default welcome*that comes with web2py. I always take a backup before I upgrade, so , no worries.. but I thought I would mention it here. Thanks- I'm still enjoying web2py a great deal, I'm learning http://ellislab.com/codeigniter (PHP MVC) but it doesn't offer what web2py offers to me for rapid development. Rob.
