If you download a customized version of Bootstrap, all css are contained in a single file. In this case just use bootstrap.min.css and remove references to bootstrap-responsive.min.css from your code.
However, if you download the stock zip from the first page of http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap<http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/customize.html#components>, you'll see bootstrap-responsive.min.css present in the download.
