I think the only thing holding back web2py is the documentation. I have not seen any framework that rivals the simplicity and regularity of web2py, but the information about how to use it is scattered and disheveled. The wiki was a valiant try but it seems to have stalled before it became useful enough for widespread contributions. Whenever I use web2py I open the following:
1. the web2py PDF book -- the best single resource 2. a browser open to this Google group, so I can search for information relating to stuff added after the book (lots!) 3. a Python class browser opened on the source so I can read the source files and figure out stuff for myself. As I create my web2py site, I'm constantly switching between these three resources to find what I need. Occasionally I need to ask something on the groups myself, if I can't find the info any other way. I really wish there were a single clearinghouse for information on web2py. I think it is the only thing that keeps w2p from taking over the world! -- Joe B.
