And finally, when we work out the mechanics for having different versions of "the same plugin" co-existing, all this concern about "is it ready? is it ready?" will become largely irrelevant, or at least stop focusing on "no more changes" and focus instead on "stable functionality"... Then you can branch a T2 (or anything else) for your app and not worry...
