It his comparing web2py plugin to a drupal plugin is like comparing
apples to oranges.

I do not know myself T2 is the best way to go but it is a necessary
step towards what I am working on: T3.

T2 at this point is not "done" in the sense that we may add a some
more methods and functionalities and polish it more. Nevertheless it
is work well for production sites. I do not exclude that there may be
bugs but, the more people use it, the faster they will be identified
and fixed.
I encourage people to use it and to create their own plugins.
