Mike Creech mentioned in Wednesday's digest about Mayberry in the Midwest in
Danville, Indiana, this weekend. I am so glad this is being held because all
the other Mayberry events are so far away from where I live that I never get to
go. But I am going to go to this one! Originally, I thought I would have to
go alone, but my dear husband is taking a vacation day from his weekday job and
is taking Sunday off (he's a pastor) so that he can go with me. I am so
excited!! I am looking forward to meeting some of the folks from the digest.
Of course, we won't know what each other looks like--that's the problem. But
I'm fairly easy to spot because I'm tall (5'10") and have red hair and glasses.
My husband is just a little taller and has a beard. So if you think you spot
me, please come up and introduce yourself. I want to make the most of this
opportunity! In fact, if you are planning to come, why not write in and tell
us. I'd like to know who all from the digest is going to be th
