I would very much suggest doing so, yeah. Having timestamps for high-frequency/resolution mice seems like a real need. Given the need to correllate the event streams (e.g. 'is someone holding down Ctrl whilst I scroll?'), it makes it easier for clients if we have comparable timestamps between the two.
