I agree Design should come first - if nobody steps up, is there any reason to not grab a design from http://www.oswd.org/ and adjust styles as needed? what are the goals for the design, i.e. should it inform? advertise? educate? there are some visually stunning sites that leave a hell of an impression of a product/service while not really allowing for detailed information to provided in a truly structured manner. (http://www.csszengarden.com/ has a few non-free Wows) should the design of the website and the templates for documentation be integrated with each other beyond color & style choices? should the default Wave client template fall in line as well, or rather serve for orientation?
