Hello all! I'd like to contribute some time to this project however my experience in contributing to open source is very minimal. I have registered on JIRA and am looking for a place to start. I found the following issue and thought it may be a good place to start but I do not know if I'm stepping in the deep end or not --> https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WAVE-367.
Not being very familiar with the organization of JIRA there is a bit of a learning curve for me there and also my coding experience is minimal beyond necessities for network engineering and linux administration. if anyone could provide some guidance or suggestions on where to start or someone I could devote time under please let me know. some disclaimers: I have little coding experience I have a background in domain administration/ strong linux background and tinking/tweaking with web apps/apps in general / strong network engineer background Used google wave when it initially came out and loved it, was sad to see it disappear. never had a working WIAB that worked beyond just the simple messaging part of it. I look forward to contributing to this project if there is a good fit for me. Thanks! A
