First - please join the wave-dev mail list so more people can join and help
you.
I think you can contribute even with little coding experience - but this
depends on what you want to do and the amount of time you can allocate for
contributing to Wave.
So, I think you can take a look at the list of issues at jira and see if
there's anything you might want to contribute to. Also, if you have some
specific interests - like working with server/client/GWT/Solr - go ahead
and let us know.
