That seems to have done the trick! never had to do that before. Got the client up. It is extreamly slow to respond....but I am pretty sure thats my antivirus or firewall, so I'll investigate that further later.
Client loads, GWT dev tools seems to have a connection, log in ok. Looks like the setup is all working. And yes, should all be possible to do via eclipse now I have the settings pinned down.
