We could start by having a wave-weg git repository inside apache. This way, all the changeset identifiers would be kept intact, and the github weg repo would become a fork of the wave-weg apache git repo. Also, the migration of github issues would be slightly easier (no need to map the old changeset numbers to the new ones). Later on more repositories can be created (e.g. wave-OT-tests, wave-libwave, wave-native-client, etc) and migrated (e.g. wave-in-a-box-server, wave-in-a-box-webclient...).
