Subject: Re: [vpp-dev] #mpls enabling mpls at interface
Hi,
My question is more on clarity. It was enabled and working fine.
But, some times I see this behavior.

I need answer on what shall be the output when we enable mpls at interface and
why it shows mpls-not-enabled but it works fine.

when do we see: none configured

when the interface is MPLS enabled.

when do we see: mpls-not-enabled
when the interface is NOT MPLS enabled.
You’ll see similar behaviour for IP.
The rationale for having the feature present when the interface is not enabled
is so that we can default the behaviour to accept and thus not pay the
performance cost of a check. In the general case we receive more MPLS traffic
on an enabled interface, than we do on a non-enabled interface.
