Buddha had figured that out thousands of years ago, but most still don't get it. The vast majority of the population forget how many times they plunked another quarter in the video game counsel, to play another round of The SIMS. I suspect forgetting is a built in feature of playing the game. The upside to forgetting is that most tend to feel a visceral sense that their all-too-brief lifespan is constantly in peril.
