That gives the formula for a magnetic field's energy density (energy per volume) as: ½B^2/μ If, as our expert claims, the energy is basically "in the noise", one should be able to come up with a simple calculation of an upper bounds by picking an appropriately large volume and saying the energy density applies throughout that volume.
