(always fun to revisit the archives)

"If you have no gammas and want to invoke phonon or
lattice coupling, then first set up an experiment
where you can show that nuclear lattice coupling is
high probability and happens most of the time in
similar situations."

Let the record show that there is still no such
experiment. Same conclusion applies: nuclear lattice
coupling as Chubb envisions it - is still closer to
myth than viable explanation.

However, what can be called QM "time reversal" where
energy can be extracted, prior in time, to when it is
returned (to balance the books) is still accepted (by
the mainstream).

ERGO in principle: that particular detail (no gammas)
favors a QM/CQM or Mills-eanesque or time-suspended
explanation. IOW an explanation in which the 'crater'
or NAS reaction site was already strongly
"energy-deficient" prior to the chain reaction (that
served to balance things out).

There are several ways that could transpire. One way
that the site could be energy deficient is via a
mechanism where electron orbital shrinkage (to
redindant ground states) is endothermic, not
exothermic (thus the explanation is Mills-eanesque
instead of being Millsean).

Another way could involve a version of the AEH where
there is a flow of chemical reaction heat (due to
orbital manipulation in the lattice) which
energy-drain then 'causes' a fusion reaction 'payback'
- but the normal fusion energy is missing, due to
having already been extracted.

Yes, I realize that either or these alternatives to
Chubb needs a falsifiable experiment as well, and
remain close-to myth until then. However, at least
there is a resort to QM there, which Chubb lacks.

BTW the last would be a Heffner-eanesque version ...
(g) ... or did HH already account for the energy
"payback" this way (via QM time reversal) ?
