I apologize. I was mis-remembering this project. I am confusing it with some
SIP trunks we turned up over a direct path to IQNT.

Our SIGTRAN using the public internet over VPN to IQNT did NOT have an outage
during the time period discussed here.

So it was not a full outage for IQNT and I am unclear of the rhyme or reason
why it happened to some and not others.

Any updates are appreciated. Concerning a CLEC can have 2-4 links all go down
at the same time.

Subject: Re: [VoiceOps] Inteliquent/Sinch SIGTRAN outage

SIGTRAN. Over the Internet. Through VPN tunnels. The VPN tunnels were up,
but it seems the STPs weren't responding to our requests, or our packets
weren't making it to them, or maybe the return packets weren't making it back
to their VPN gateways.

A traceroute shows that we send our traffic to Inteliquent/Sinch (these VPN
gateways included) via our peering connection at
MICE<https://micemn.net/participants.html>.

Meanwhile, calls over our SIP connections with Inteliquent/Sinch were working
fine.

Did everyone here have connections that go over the internet or direct peering

We saw no outage and we directly connect to them.
