Maybe they finally realized they were giving all their business away to
Sinch and InfoBip and that it was going to start costing them money if
they didn't move away from SS7. After all who has more switches to pay
for than the ILECs and RBOCs?

they were investigating SIP trunking for a possible early 2025
introduction. Given that they already sell retail SIP trunking
