Usually the LECs want all carriers who port from them to sign a porting
agreement and get set up with Verizon's LSR system to submit port
requests. It sounds to me like maybe Commio has not done that. I would
find out if they have ever submitted port requests to Verizon in the
past. They may just need to sign some paperwork to make it happen.

It's actually been escalated to their porting supervisor, from the
first two tiers. Not sure how to go above that guy.

Carlos,
From my experience, this is the employee with VZW not knowing how to
port a landline (I am assuming you are VoIP obviously).
What we do is ask our customers to find a rep that knows how to do
it or know what they are doing, or simply ask for a supervisor.
And we emphasize that they should mention they are porting a
landline.
Good luck.

A customer is porting a number to VZW, and they can't figure it
out. They called me to ask if I had "more info" to help them port
out from Commio. My return call went to VM, so I don't have more
info, but thought I'd ask here on the list. Any ideas on how this
can be, or what to recommend?
I know Verizon is a small carrier, and may not be wise to the ways
of telecom.
