No, more likely a front-line flunky who was taught to say "no" if they weren't sure what the answer was...
BTW, I use VNC on XP also. There is always a little bit of a learning curve, but when it's up and running, it is still the most smooth and reliable of the remote control clients. In fact, I recently switched to *always* using it on my clients' XP Pro systems as well as the built in remote desktop connection. There are some hurdles to effectively configuring the built-in remote tools on those systems that make VNC an intelligent choice for immediate access with a minimum of fuss. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roger Pray" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, 2002-05-21 11:11 Subject: Re: ShirleyC > We're running VNC on all of our XP PC's both Home and Pro. > > Probably just Gateway/MS trying to sell additional software or something > like that. > > Roger > > ShirleyC wrote: > > > > At 05/21/2002 05:52 PM +0200, you wrote: > > >yes that should work.
