I'm running the stock V3.3.3r2 from http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/ on Solaris V2.8 (a SunRay, if that matters). When I run at a depth greater than 8 I find that Mozilla (has occurred for at least several months on all release versions) will crash Xvnc when using many themes, including Pinball and Gray Modern. Also, regardless of theme, Mozilla can crash Xvnc when accessing certain pages, http://www.gradfinder.com/cgi-bin/grad/browse.cgi?state=25&country=228&; being one example. If I run Mozilla on my standard display (rather than vnc) I have no difficulty with these themes or pages. I've also tried with TridiaVNC and find the same problem.
Any suggestions on how to fix or troubleshoot?
