I followed the offered solutions ...

However, Joe's question seems different to me.
I'm surprised about the "different ports" aspect, but, as I read it, there is a
problem with Joe's firewall possibly doing some port-mapping
independently of any explicit mapping set up using port-mapper software on A (and/or)
B. [I'm assuming F/W isn't on A]

So with the suggested "solutions", mapping from/to a "known" place can be done "out"
on A or "in" to B but some other transform happens in the middle.

Don't we need to know some more about the firewall software?
 e.g. what name and version is it, what machine is it running on , what are its port
mapping capabilities, who has access rights to it etc... ?

regards, Mark

{Both analogx and (with less Windows sympathy) boutell versions work fine under NT4
for me with simple port re-direct . No firewall}
p.s. May the 4th be with you real soon ;-}
