Rest assured, I have had VNC and TightVNC installed on three mission
critical server without any problems. Unless you have not installed it
correctly there should be no problems . . . . .  Having said that though,
after all it windows  . . . .

BTW, these server have been running for many months with first VNC and then
TightVNC and "VNC" is daily use so far I have never had any problems related
to VNC or TightVNC.  PLENTY other windows problems though!
