Alex, Yes, it is in the location you specified, and I searched for other passwords, but they were all (zero-length binary value), as well.
Maybe I'm missing something: I've: a. Added the AuthRequired DWORD with a 0 value b. Changed the Password BINARY to a value that comes up as (zero-length binary value) in the registry under data. c. Started the VNC Service. Tried to connect using both the Java applet or the VNC Client, and I just ok the blank password, but this doesn't work. I know in the Java applet code, there is a portion of the protocol where if it comes up NoAuth required it doesn't even present the password dialog - so I think I missing something here. Also, when I start the VNC Server as an application, it bawks and says I have to set a password. Any advice?
