Ted, Just to double-check - did you create the value in the following location?
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ORL\WinVNC3\ It is supposed to be a local machine-specific setting, so it takes effect there. Since you probably did so, I would check to see if you have a password set in any of the following locations: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ORL\WinVNC3\ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ORL\WinVNC3\Default\ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ORL\WinVNC3\<your-username>\ HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ORL\WinVNC3\ Depending on how you are running it, a password could be configured in any of those locations. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ted Shab" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, 2002-04-29 16:31 Subject: AuthRequired on Win2K > Hi, > > I can't get AuthRequired = 0 to work on Win2K.
